Caffeine

Caffeine is connected to coffee from which it takes its name. This alkaloid is found in a large number of products: tea and chocolate, etc.
Acting on the neurotransmitters of the central nervous system, caffeine has a stimulating action.
Rapidly metabolized by the body, it penetrates all tissues, including those of the brain. This stimulant role is widely used in agri-food and nutraceutical formulations.
